SunPetro is operating four oil & gas producing assets in Gujarat. These fields have been transferred from other Operators who either could not put them on production or declared these as depleted assets or not economically suitable for development. SunPetro has successfully brought all the four fields under sustained economical production.

Mr. Dilip S. Shanghvi

Dilip Shanghvi is the Founder and Chairman and Managing Director of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited. He is also the Chairman of Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Ltd., which is engaged in R&D of new innovative drugs and delivery technologies.

He was awarded the Padma Shri in 2016 for his distinguished contribution to the Indian Trade & Industry. In January 2018, the Indian Government appointed Mr. Shanghvi to the Reserve Bank of India’s 21-member central board committee. He is part of the Economic Advisory Council formed by the Government of Maharashtra to achieve rapid and comprehensive development in the state. The Government of Gujarat appointed him as the Chairman of Gujarat Biotechnology University in 2022

JOB PURPOSE

Establish an overall oil and gas Field Development plan (FDP), integrating and completing company plans. Provides technical expertise to support Full Field Development Plan (FFDP) studies, build appropriate dynamic simulation models, and define appraisal strategy/plan including data acquisition requirements through interfaces with Data Management and technologies that effectively integrate Reservoir Engineering aspects into static and dynamic evaluation of reservoirs, FDP and future investment decisions.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Analyse performance of existing wells / reservoirs & potential development concepts.
  2. Production Surveillance and Monitoring and Planning and execution of work-over jobs
  3. Design & analysis of SCAL / PVT laboratory studies.
  4. Reservoir simulation on full field model construction from upscaling, initialization, validation, history match and forecast predictions.
  5. Well Testing Design, Analysis and Interpretation
  6. Identification and Optimisation of Exploratory, Development and infill Well Locations
  7. Answering, compiling and replying to all the queries from DGH.
  8. Techno-economic field evaluations.
  9. Preparation of Work Program and Budget (WP&B
  10. Perform detailed study of the reservoir sands, production data and water‐breakthrough analysis for all sands

Job Purpose:

Lead engineer should have the ability to take the total overall responsibility of the electrical system for Onshore and Offshore Oil & Gas Installations right from conceptualization to commissioning including troubleshooting, working and coordinating with projects official from different disciplines. He shall demonstrate excellent project management and supervision skills along with excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Developing fit for purpose concept and specification for electrical system for procurement.
  2. Analysing technical drawings, interpreting specifications, and determining the electrical requirements of a given project.
  3. Liaising with other engineers and clients to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
  4. Managing and monitoring all assigned electrical projects.
  5. Taking responsibility for commissioning of the electrical system.
  6. Completing quality assurance on all electrical components and projects and writing up reports.
  7. Conversant with CAD software to draft designs.
  8. Analyzing and approving various construction and engineering plans.
  9. Diagnosing problems and troubleshooting equipment.
  10. Ensuring all deadlines and budgetary requirements are met.
  11. Keeping abreast of the latest developments in electrical engineering.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  2. Acquaintance with HV / MV / LV systems, DGMS or other applicable compliances for electrical systems.
  3. CAD software and MS Office shall be preferred.
  4. 10 - 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical industry.
  5. Experience in engineering and project management.

JOB PURPOSE

To manage the Production operations associated with Processing of Gas and crude oil Responsible to ensure safety in each and activities in plant and all work is carried out in accordance with the provision of applicable act and regulations.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY

  1. Ensure All Production activities are undertaken safely and in accordance with statutory regulations
  2. Ensure that production is optimised with minimum downtime and  production losses are minimised
  3. Ensures all production operations are carried out in a safe manner.
  4. Liaise with regulatory Inspectorate ( e.g. DGMS, GPCB, OISD, ICG)  as required
  5. Daily and Monthly reports to DGH PDMS
  6. Ensures the effective working of the Permit to Work (PTW) system

Mr. Padam Singh

An engineer with degrees from IIT Roorkee, Mr. Padam Singh has 45+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently working as President, SunPetro,  He has previously served as Director (Operations) at GSPC and Project Director at RIL.

Notably, he accomplished the impressive feat of developing the MA deepwater field in the KG Basin in a record time of just 26 months.

  1. Supervises and performs duties during wireline/LWD logging operations both offshore and on land fields.
  2. Expertise in open hole, cased hole, production logging, use of pressure control equipment, rigless operations is must.
  3. Hands on experience of Preparation of work over plans, logging plan and execution, Preparation of technical specifications for hiring of logging unit with specified tools, tender evaluation is must.
  4. Participates in well planning and assists with the development of pre-drill documentation packages (i.e. designs and provides logging program, identifies potential logging hazards, etc.).
  5. Document all technical work performed in the relevant systems.
  6. Maintains and ensures accuracy and completeness of petrophysical databases (digital copy and hard copies).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum: 15 years of logging operations
  • MSc/MTech/PHD in Geophysics
  • Well logging operational experience with sufficient knowledge of open hole, cased hole, production logging and rigless job execution.
  • Preparation of technical specifications and tendering for hiring of logging service, negotiation skills and coordination with service providers.

Additional Skills:

  1. MS Office, C++/Python, Open to work in Linux & Windows
  2. Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  3. Experience with the use of petrophysical softwares (Geolog/Techlog/IP/Powerlog), preferable Geolog.

Mr. Partha Roy

He has Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
Has 18 years of experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering, Projects & Development, conducting Flow Assurance studies for Onshore, Offshore & CBM fields and technoeconomic evaluation of oil & gas assets.
Previously worked with Reliance Industries Limited – E&P Division, INTECSEA & Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited.
Has expertise in transient simulation, modeling and hydrate management for deep water operations.
Has worked for production facilities including flow line depressurization, planned and unplanned shut down and thermal insulation design.
Currently looking after all Projects & Development activities at SunPetro.

Mr. Satyesh Bhandari

Mr. Satyesh Bhandari, a veteran expert in oil/gas and mineral exploration with an M. Tech. from IIT, Roorkee, with 42+ years of industry experience He specializes in exploration, subsurface development, commercial analysis, and reservoir. characterization. Currently working as Vice President in SunPetro.  As former Senior VP at GSPC, he led Subsurface team of Deen Dayal West Offshore Field development in KG Basin. He also spearheaded development projects in the Mahanadi Basin at RIL.

His significant contributions at ONGC included crucial roles in offshore discoveries with 3D interpretation, and seismic offshore and onshore data acquisition.

Dr. Anil Tyagi

Dr. Anil Tyagi has 42+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, working at Indicos, ONGC, and Reliance Industries. Currently working as Vice President in SunPetro. An IIT alumnus, with 50+ worldwide publications his expertise includes Petrophysics, reserves estimation, and reservoir characterisation. He introduced advanced technologies, converting prospects into discoveries for Reliance and India.

At ONGC, he also led the reservoir monitoring, modelling, and simulation team.

Mr. Sankar Nayak

Mr. Sankar Nayak has an M. Sc. degree from IIT Kharagpur and 42+ years of industry experience. Currently working as Vice President in SunPetro.   He has excelled at prominent Indian E&P companies, including ONGC, RIL, and SunPetro. He led successful exploration in the Krishna-Godavari basin at RIL.

At ONGC, he made significant contributions to major discoveries in the Cambay basin, deep water offshore East coast of India, and the redevelopment and evaluation of Bombay High and the Bombay offshore basin.

JOB PURPOSE

Preparation and consolidation of corporate budget, budgetary controls, management reporting, Regulatory reporting, liasioning with auditors, benchmarking and business analytics etc.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Handling MIS and various reporting related to the Management.
  2. Preparation & Presentation of Monthly P&L report (MIS) at field level and Company level
  3. P&L analysis reports (Key financial information Ratio and analysis to the top management for financial decision-making).
  4. Cost analysis & Cost calculation (Opex per barrel / Opex per MMBTU) for the products of the company.
  5. Preparation and consolidation of annual corporate budget and long-term corporate plans
  6. Regulatory reports preparation and getting them audited
  7. Analyze company's financial information (such as cash management٫ expenditures٫ and revenues) making sure that company's financial operations do not exceed budget limits
  8. Preparation of presentation for MD office and responding to queries
  9. Preparation of monthly MIS incorporating budget, actuals and projections, proactive identification, and reporting of budget overruns
  10. Preparation and presentation of Analytical Information, Detailed review of project costs, contract costs as per requirement
  11. Suggesting improvements in company’s budget utilization to increase profits
  12. Ad hoc information and tasks as may be delegated

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferably a CA with 2-6 Years’ experience in upstream Oil & Gas companies or MBA/CMA with 4-6 years’ experience in upstream Oil & Gas companies

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

  1. Experience of working as a Budget Manager or Budget Analyst
  2. Good practical experience with financial٫ accounting and statistical software and ERP/SAP
  3. Good knowledge of MS Excel including advanced tools and formulas٫ complex tables and charts
  4. Profound experience of using forecasting and data analytics methods

JOB PURPOSE

Independently handling the accounting and reporting role ensuring timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual books and completion of corporate audit

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Preparation and finalization of periodic accounts & subledgers in compliance with IND AS
  2. Ensuring monthly, quarterly, and annual book closure, audit, and monthly balance sheet review
  3. Delivering statutory reporting pack for quarterly, annual closing (in compliance with IND AS) with reasons of variances and Liasoning with auditors.
  4. Ledger scrutiny, review and reconciliation of vendor balances and corrective actions, vendor, and customer confirmations
  5. Controllership of fixed assets and inventory  
  6. Liasoning with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax auditors, etc. for completion of Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Limited Reviews and Internal Audit.
  7. Preparation of projected cash flows and day to day fund/cash management
  8. Preparation of tax computation/return, tax planning, advance tax calculation and payment
  9. Monitoring internal controls over various processes

  1. Strong knowledge of IND AS, IGAAP and Oil & Gas Accounting. Knowledge of joint venture/field wise accounting, cost recovery and revenue sharing in Oil & Gas is preferable
  2. Hands on experience on ERP/SAP
  3. Strong knowledge in MS Excel, Word & Powerpoint
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  5. Strong understanding of internal processes and controls

Mr. Vishal Mehta

  • Vishal is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India since 1998.
  • Vishal has over 25 years of progressive experience with Global organizations in various roles encompassing strategy, business planning, operations, finance, business analysis, risk management, corporate governance and stake holder relationship management.
  • Vishal has received numerous accolades in his career in areas across Finance. He is result oriented, high in energy and love the dynamics and challenges of innovative and emerging companies.
  • He joined Sun Petro as a CFO in July 2022.
  • Prior to joining Sun Petro, he has worked with Shell/BG Group, JP Morgan and KPMG, Deloitte Haskins & Sells and Arthur Andersen.

  3. Experience & understanding of SEAC, SEIAA, MoEFCC procedures for obtaining EC & CRZ clearance
  4. Documentation w.r.t. Environment, Health & Safety
  5. Experience working on Environment Management System
  6. Environmental & Consent Compliances
  7. Data analysis and interpretation
  8. Understanding of Waste management statutory processes like EPR, HW etc.

Mr. Sunil Rastogi

An IITian with a Master’s degree in Management, Sunil Rastogi brings 37+ years of Oil & Gas industry experience. With a strong professional background at ONGC and RIL, he boasts comprehensive skills in onshore & offshore oil and gas production, project execution  and sour gas & condensate handling. Currently working as Vice President in SunPetro.

At RIL, he excelled in onshore and offshore projects for KG-D6 showcasing expertise in reservoir monitoring, production optimization, troubleshooting, and enhanced oil recovery.

Functional Role            :              Safety Officer

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Experience in Upstream Oil and Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical Plants in the domain of HSE.
  2. In-depth knowledge of all relevant OISD standards, Oil Mines Regulation (OMR) -2017, Mines Rules etc.
  3. Knowledge related to approvals pertaining to PESO, DGMS / OISD Audits and Inspections.
  4. Dispatches and accompany ERT (Emergency response team) in case of emergency.
  5. Effective implementation of Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and Disaster Management Plan (DMP).
  6. Knowledge pertaining to HSE Compliances.
  7. Liaison with the DGMS / PESO authorities

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

•           M.Tech / B-Tech in Fire and Safety / Mechanical / Petroleum / Chemical

•             5-7 years of experience in the above areas of HSE-Safety.    

Functional Role            :              Safety Officer for HSE Drilling (Offshore)

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Have worked on Offshore Rigs for all HSE related aspects – Rig inspections, Rig Audits, HSE Documentation, SOPs etc.
  2. Assist with Route Survey, Rig Move planning and execution to ensure smooth and safe moves.
  3. Review accident and incident reports and recommending follow up preventative measures.
  4. Maintaining the statutory licenses and records for inspection and compliance.
  5. Reports preparation related to all the drilling operations

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

•           M.Tech / B-Tech in Fire and Safety / Mechanical / Petroleum / Chemical

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

•             7 years of experience in the above areas of HSE-Safety-Drilling.
